ASSESS YOUR RISK OF CHRONIC VENOUS DISEASE.

Welcome to the Spanish Chapter of Phlebology and Lymphology

Dear colleagues:

On behalf of the Board of Directors elected on May 3, 2019 at the Ordinary Assembly of the Spanish Chapter of Phlebology and Lymphology (SCPL- CEFyL) of the SEACV, I want to thank you for the confidence you have given us to represent our Society for the next 4 years .

It is a great responsibility that all the members of the Board of Directors assume with enthusiasm and dedication. In these 4 years we have set ourselves several objectives. Among others, the Specialists in Angiology and Vascular Surgery,  should  continue to be a reference in phlebological matters in all areas, increase the presence in thromboembolic disease and increase leadership in lymphatic pathology.

Continuing on the path of holding attractive Congresses and maintaining the Chapter’s formative courses such as the Sclerotherapy Course or those joint with the SEACV such as the Vein Academy, among others, are within our intentions.

We want to give SCPL members the prominence that each of you wishes. Our Secretary will collect your doubts, suggestions and requests and they will be evaluated in the meetings of the Board of Directors. Also, as stated in the letter of presentation of the candidacy, Working Groups will be created to accommodate the associates who wish to do so.

To carry out all this, this Executive Committee has some excellent professionals, whom I want to thank for accepting with such enthusiasm to be part of this exciting project. Each Chair has specific functions. The Website will be renewed and we will have a presence in Social Networks. Registries and surveys will also be carried out to find out in what situation Phlebology is in Spain, and many other projects that we will detail.

Thank you very much again for your confidence.

Rodrigo Rial
President of the Spanish Chapter of Phlebology and Lymphology of the SEACV.
